Leading successfully through a period of change

David Romano, Director, Pique Global

There is no doubt that today's environment is complex, and change is happening at speed. Leaders are expected to be incredibly responsive to emerging opportunities and at the same time consider more diverse stakeholder perspectives in every decision. This, combined with an impending change in elected member leadership will require CEOs to ready themselves and their teams to respond to an evolving landscape in the future.

Change leadership is a must have capability of senior leaders requiring them to be courageous and forward thinking while at the same time authentically supporting themselves and others. Connect with other CEO's who are also navigating change challenges and be able to explore ideas, tools and tips to look at change leadership differently, whilst strengthening your connections and support network with peers.

Join David Romano, Director, Pique Global, who has a passion for developing senior leaders and their teams, as well as your CEO Network to explore this important concept.

 2.30pm

Local Government Graduate Network – Flinders University

Philippa Spencer, Flinders University

Nalini Klopp, Flinders University

A key priority area of the LG Professionals SA 2022 – 2024 Strategic Plan is to ‘Promote professional participation in the sector through the establishment of a Local Government Graduate Program’.

To ensure the development of an offering that meets the needs of the sector, hear from Philippa and Nalini from Flinders University, who successfully partner with several SA Councils. They will discuss the various models for engagement with students, based on a range of outcomes.

Contribute to the shaping of a local government graduate program through this discussion relating to the needs of your council, key shortages in the sector and what you are looking for in a graduate program.

 4.00pm   Event End
