Purpose 

The purpose of the LG Professionals SA Community Development Network is to bring local government community leaders and practitioners together to build individual and sector capacity, for the benefit of local communities.

Network aim

• To lead, strengthen and celebrate high‑quality community development practice
• To identify and respond to emerging trends, opportunities and challenges across the sector
• To provide valued professional development, peer support and networking opportunities
• To build the sector’s visibility, influence and readiness for future change in relation to community development.
