LG Professionals SA Community Managers Network Workshop

Local government Community Development Managers and Senior Leaders are invited to this special workshop where the question will be asked and answered, 'Is that Council's role?'

This workshop will be held in person at the Unley Oval Community Hub on Wednesday 29 May 2024 from 9:30 AM - 12:45 PM. A recording will be available for those unable to attend in person.

The workshop will focus on the following outcomes:

1. ROLE CLARITY - a skilled facilitator will spend 2 hours arming you with practical, concrete tools and information to help you make decisions about whether something is a local government role, something you want to engage in at this time, and what the cascading decisions are from that point.
2. RECONNECT WITH PEERS - opportunities for sharing the gold and the grief.
3. RECHARGE - small, practical self-care activities you can take back to your workplace.
4. RESEARCH - provide your input on potential ideas for ongoing professional development for experienced managers.

This is a high value content workshop for busy managers, offering experiential learning and practical tools/tips/concepts/frameworks to take away.

Registrations for this workshop are open to Local Government Professionals Australia, SA members, council employees, employees of regional subsidiaries and Local Government Professionals Australia, SA invited guests who are undertaking a manager or senior leader role within Community Development.
