Are you ready to expand your leadership skills, grow your professional network, and play a lead role in shaping meaningful and timely opportunities for your peers?
Nominations are now open for several LG Professionals SA Network Committees - a chance to get involved, collaborate with like-minded professionals, and proactively guide the direction of your Network.
Each Network Committee is supported by a Chair, Vice Chair, and committed Committee Members who drive the design and delivery of events, Forums, information sharing and initiatives that matter most to local government professionals. It’s an opportunity to contribute your ideas, influence your Network’s activities, and build strong professional relationships that extend far beyond your council or subsidiary.
LG Professionals SA Council or Subsidiary Members have exclusive access to these opportunities, with nominations open once a year. The following Committees are calling for nominations:
- People and Culture Network
- Business Performance and Improvement Network
- Women’s Network.
Nominations close at 5:00PM Monday 16 November 2026.

Be part of a Network Committee that aims to create opportunities for local government people and culture professionals to connect, share and grow.
The People and Culture Network Committee meets regularly throughout the year, considering current themes and challenges to develop effective opportunities to empower local government people and culture professionals to become collaborative, innovative and strategic leaders for their organisations and community.
The People and Culture Network Committee wish to invite nominations for the following: - One (1) position for a one-year term, to fill a casual vacancy, concluding 30 November 2027
- Seven (7) positions for a two-year term, concluding 30 November 2028

The Business Performance and
Improvement Network (BPIN) Committee curates opportunities to support local
government professionals to improve organisational performance through
collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. The network
connects members across councils to exchange ideas, build capability, access
practical resources, and champion innovative approaches that enhance service
delivery and community outcomes.
The Business Performance and Improvement Network Committee wish to invite nominations for the following:
- Three (3) positions for a one-year term, concluding 30 November 2027
- Seven (7) positions for a two-year term, concluding 30 November 2028

The Women's Network Committee wish to invite nominations for the following:
- One (1) position for a one-year term, to fill a Casual
