A word from the Acting CEO
Wow, what a fantastic 'Mad March'!
We were thrilled to recently celebrate the graduation of both the 2019 and 2020 cohorts of our Ignite Program - congratulations to all and best wishes as you continue your leadership journey. It's so exciting to be holding face to face events again and networking with our peers and we have plenty to look forward to as the year progresses.
After more than 18 months of planning, we were finally able to host our Annual State Conference – Trust and Collaboration: unlocking results on Friday 19 March at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, with more than 350 local government professionals attending. There was certainly a buzz in the air as delegates made the most of the opportunity to catch up with peers, and even meet new ones.
Thank you to all of our Corporate Partners and Conference Sponsors LGFA, LGRS, Statewide Super, Norman Waterhouse, LG Hub, LG Engage, Telstra, FYB, Infocouncil, Procurement Australia, iPlatinum, JLL, Carclew, Maxima and Perk People Solutions for their valued support.
Do you know someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the local government sector in South Australia? Please find details below on the call for nominations for the Outstanding Contribution to the Sector award and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions around nominating a peer.
Please enjoy this month's edition of Leader's Connect and consider registering for an event or program - the theme of this newsletter is networking and what better place to do this than at one of our events or programs.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
Best wishes,
Rhiannon
